I find myself looking forward to lunch break, not just because it provides a valid excuse (oxymoron! whatever.) to pig out, but also it's enjoyable listening to my meal buddies (aka a bunch of uncles lol) talk about their work. Plus I have the time to quieten down and read my Bible after my meal. :) Started reading Proverbs on monday and I'm currently at chapter 28! :D

Today's lunch break was the most epic ever. Mr Lim was talking about how it would rain today and blah blah blah. Just after we finished eating, it started drizzling and we didn't have umbrellas with us. Johnny and I went "Mr Limmmmm~!"+ *pek cek face* and he replied "the news reported that there will be thunderstorm too!". -_-

After lunch, Raymond walked off in another direction to buy stuff while Mr Lim walked towards where we came from. Johnny and I were stuck in the middle and I decided to return back to office first (aka follow Mr Lim). Johnny was like "wah! pangseh Raymond ah?!" and he stayed behind to wait for Raymond (how nice! ^^). On our way back, it rained even heavier and we had to run in the heavy downpour. I was wearing slippers and a tight skirt which made running really challenging. I was laughing super hard (both at how despo we were and the way Mr Lim ran) which worsened my weak stamina + hindered my run. Eventually Mr Lim outran me and reached the annex (closest LTA building) before me . T_T

It's not fair! He was wearing pants and leather shoes which were so much easier to run with! Plus he's a sportsman (so as he claimed) even though he's in his fifties (?) which gave him all the more reason to run faster than me. :/

So....we entered INV looking super cui and looking for people to borrow umbrellas from. Azlinda lent her pretty pink girlish umbrella to us and we shared it on our way back to the main building. Mr Lim sang "ji kee sio ho sua" which was uber funny 'cos it's a love song! Anyway Mdm Koh was super cute when she asked why the oldest and the youngest could run back but the supposedly "stronger" middle-aged men couldn't. xD Oh, Mr Lim's super nice to walk back to fetch umbrellas for R and J + return Azlinda's umbrella! Thanks Mr Lim! ^^

The adventures didn't end here. While printing notices, I came across a name which is......funny. Not funny funny, just pure amusing. Imagine the name of a person you love and that of a person you loathe, two in one with exact same spelling (and not just sounding the same). When I saw it, I literally LOLed and couldn't contain my laughter for at least 20 seconds. It's damn hilarious, trust me. I find it quite unbelievable 'cos the above mentioned person I loathe has a unique spelling for his name, yet this 61 year old cabby's name shares the same spelling. Pretty amazing, isn't it?

Never mind...I just find it simply amusing. Though I admit I was quite shocked when I first saw the name. Too bad I can't screenshot it, if not I will definitely upload it on Tumblr. ^^

Oh, I love my bus ride home. The driver's superb, I tell ya. He sped past one bus stop which made all the passengers aboard (including me) either o.o or :O. Of course, those adults waiting at the bus stop were stunned too. Poor things.

My goodness, tomorrow's Friday which means it's BRAS BASAH and BUGIS after work! It's miraculous that both places are within walking distance (< 9mins walk) from each other. I was so dumb to think of walking to BB station + taking train from BB > DG > CH > Bugis when I can actually walk there. -_-

Heart-breaking news: yc's not joining us for steamboat nor BT climb. :( aww man. :( I wanted to take pictures with the Ngs lol.
